From long time, apple is considered the representative of good health and vitality for one reason that you can keep it close to you to eat anywhere and anytime. “So eating an apple every day is not a bad idea,” says Dr. “Lawrence H..Cochi “assistant professor of public health and nutrition and epidemiology at the University (Minnesota) in (Minneapolis). And heart disease are not the only diseases faced by the power of (QUERCETIN), where this compound proved its effective influence as well as against the cancer.

Says Dr. (Cochi) “when some cells exposed to a carcinogen, Then put it in (QUERCETIN), you prevent the conversion of the cells to cancer cells because you prevent carcinogen compound from work.”

Fiber areas

Regardless of what is confirmed by recent discoveries, apple is the best food sources that contain fibers. It contains both types of fiber: soluble and insoluble, also includes a substance called (pectin), which resolved with water. The medium-sized apple contains 0.7 grams of pectin; which means more than the amount in strawberries and bananas.

Winesap : Acidic and spices, and often used in making apple juice and bread or muffins and added to salads.

Roasted apples with toasted oats


  • 6 medium-sized Jonagold apples

  • 0.5 cup of non-sweetened apple sauce

  • 0.75Cup of instant oats

  • 3 large tablespoons of toasted wheat germ

  • 3 large tablespoons of packed light brown sugar

  • A teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of salt-free butter and cut into small pieces


1) Preheat oven to a temperature of 350 F (175 Celsius).Anoint baking dish 12 X 8 with anti-adhesion cooking oil

2) Cut the apples into two pieces lengthwise.Get out seeds and leg and get rid of them.Cut the apples into thin pieces.

3) Put apples and apple sauce in baking dish.In a small bowl, mix oats, wheat germ, brown sugar and cinnamon

4) Add oil and butter.Mix the oil and butter by your fingers inside the dry ingredients

5) Distribute oat mixture evenly over the apples.Place the dish in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the surface is blushed and apples is boiled.And serve it hot.
